The Birmingham World Trade Center is a proposed organization that would serve as a Birmingham affiliate of the international World Trade Centers Association.
Birmingham began working with the business consultancy Adah International to explore the feasibility of establishing a World Trade Center. On June 6, 2017 the Birmingham City Council approved a resolution authorizing the city to apply for a license. That license was granted in July.
