Camp McDowell, established in 1948, is a church camp and conference center operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama. The camp is located near Nauvoo in Walker County.

Camp McDowell offers summer camps, adventure camps, environmental camps and outreach programs, group lodging and conference facilities.

In March 2023, the camp hosted the House of Bishops of the Episcopal Church for a six-day retreat and business meeting.
