Canterbury United Methodist Church is a large Methodist church located at 350 Overbrook Road in Mountain Brook. It was established on October 10, 1948 by the merger of Union Hill Methodist Church and Mountain Brook Methodist Church.

The congregation began meeting at the present site on September 9, 1952 and the present sanctuary building was completed in 1961.
