CardioVascular Associates P.C. is a clinical practice founded by cardiologist John Burrett in 1946. The practice now represents a network of 32 cardiologists practicing at 12 locations in the Birmingham area. Jerry Chandler is the current president.
In 2011 the group announced plans to consolidate its practices at a $20 million, 70,000 square-foot, 3-story facility at 3780 Colonnade Parkway. The new clinic was developed by Corporate Realty Development and designed by Giattina Aycock Architecture Studio to facilitate more efficient patient flow, reducing waiting times. The building features 47 examination rooms on the second floor with corporate offices on ground level and physicians offices above.
