Robert Christopher Salter (born August 1, 1980 in Houston, Texas) is a mortgage banker and a candidate to represent 7th Congressional District of Alabama, left vacant by Artur Davis.

Salter graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and worked for Lehman Brothers before the Great Recession led to the company's failure. He subsequently founded the Salter Mortgage Group with his wife.
