Dairy Snack was a burger stand and soft-serve ice cream parlor operated by Morris and Lanette Padgett at 410 Green Springs Highway in Homewood beginning in 1965.

The business was passed to the Padgett's daughter, Joyce Melton, along with her husband, David. They opened the Paw Paw Patch restaurant behind the original Dairy Snack in 1985, then later tore down the smaller building as part of the restaurant's parking lot.
