Dan Bynum (born February 18, 1966 in Birmingham) is a visual artist noted for his realist collage-like paintings. He earned his bachelor of arts at UAB in 2000 and has had numerous public exhibitions in Birmingham and around the South.

Bynum has won numerous awards at Operation New Birmingham's Magic City Art Connection. He won the Director's Circle Emerging Artist Award in 1999, the AmSouth Art Merit Award in 2002, the Collector Art Award in 2003 and the Portico Art Merit Award in 2005.

Bynum, who lives in Bluff Park, is represented locally by Bare Hands Gallery and in Nashville, Tennessee by TAG Art Gallery. He has also shown at Space 301 in Mobile, at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and at Lyda Rose Art Gallery and the UAB Visual Art Gallery in Birmingham.
