Danny Lasseter (born c. 1971) is a chef and partner with J. D. Hill in the Patton Creek Shopping Center franchise of Cantina.

Lasseter began working as a server at Johnny Ray's and La Paz while he was studying literature at Samford University. After graduating he attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York to train as a chef. He worked at Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Louisiana under Emanuel Loubier, and Canoe Restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia before opening his own establishment, St John's in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2000.

In 2002 Lasseter moved back to Birmingham and opened Fire Restaurant in Crestline Village along with his wife Jill and J. D. Hill. They sold the business in April 2010 and purchased the Cantina franchise from Guillermo Castro several months later.
