Demetrius Lamar "Meat" Reigns (born 1977 - died September 4, 2008 in Birmingham) was the coach of the McAdory Yellow Jackets 5 and 6-year old little league football team. He was shot to death in Inglenook in September 2008. His was the 59th homicide of the year in Birmingham. The investigation into his death was the first case in the city to be documented by crews from "The First 48", a reality program aired on the A&E cable channel.
