Dixie Cream Donuts was a doughnut shop located at 205 18th Street North in downtown Birmingham. It was opened in August 1950 by J. C. Lakey and featured fresh-made doughnuts with the slogan "Made in Sight by the Folks in White."

The shop was part of the Dixie Cream Donut Company chain based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In 1952, owner Mike Gentry announced that he had become the exclusive franchisee for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in the Birmingham area, and in addition to changing the name of the shop, was adopting "better methods".
