Morrison served in the U. S. Navy during the [[Korean War]] and later joined the U. S. Army and was stationed in Ulm, Germany with the rank of 1st Lieutenant Armor. He graduated form [[Auburn University]] in [[1956]] and worked in Houston before returning to [[Birmingham]] to join [[Bill Poole]] and [[Oscar Pardue]] in practice. He earned his architectural registration in [[1964]].

Donald Morrison, Jr (born January 6, 1931 in Camden, South Carolina; died November 14, 2010 in Birmingham) was an architect and partner with David Scheirer in Morrison Scheirer Architects since 1988.

Morrison served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War and later joined the U. S. Army and was stationed in Ulm, Germany with the rank of 1st Lieutenant Armor. He graduated form Auburn University in 1956 and worked in Houston before returning to Birmingham to join Bill Poole and Oscar Pardue in practice. He earned his architectural registration in 1964.

Morrison helped found Birmingham Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in 1965 and served as its president in 1968.
