Drummond's originally opened in 2009 in the Quality Inn at 1485 Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills by Tim Drummond.
In November, Drummond's wife Lisa Carbonie Drummond changed her Johnny Ray's franchise on Morgan Road to Drummond's Hickory Grill BBQ. The Drummonds decided to close the Vestavia Hills location in December.
