Eugene Brown Erwin Middle School is a middle school in the Jefferson County Schools system, located at 532 23rd Avenue Northwest in Center Point. Enrollment in 2007 was 1,216 in grades 6-8. The principal is Van Phillips.

The school was originally constructed in 1957 as a junior high school on a 38-acre site purchased from Sun Valley Acres Inc.. Named for former Jefferson County High School principal E. B. Erwin, the school opened with twelve classrooms serving 240 students in grades 7-9. Community residents raised funds to grade playing fields adjacent to the school in 1961. A four-classroom annex and locker room were added in 1963.

In 1964 the Jefferson County Board of Education voted to expand the junior high school into a high school for grades 7-12 and to build a new Erwin Elementary School. To that end, a new library, cafeteria and administrative wing with twelve additional classrooms was built in 1964, a two-story science wing added in 1965, and a gymnasium completed in 1966. In 1967 another 16-classroom wing was constructed for the junior high school grades. Additional special classrooms for home economics, art and vocational programs were added in 1971.

Erwin High School's baseball field was constructed in 1993 and tennis courts were added in 1995. The campus' "athletic complex" was named in honor of retiring principal Michael Burkett that year.

The school was changed over for grades 6-8 after the completion of the new Center Point High School in 2011.
