The Freunde Deutscher Sprache und Kultur, or simply the Birmingham German Club, is a club dedicated to showcasing German culture within the Birmingham District. Having its beginnings in 1965, the club was begun by Mina Keasler and other "war brides" as a means to connect back with their German heritage. Originally meeting at the Hollywood Country Club, the club is now located at 2318 2nd Avenue North in downtown Birmingham.

From the club spawned the German band Die Mitternaechter with Keasler serving as lead singer. The club is most known for organizing the annual Birmingham Oktoberfest each October since 1977. Today, the club still hosts monthly dinners and is open Friday nights for beer drinking.
