The Friends of Cats and Dogs Foundation (FCDF) is an all-volunteer animal rescue organization which operates a "virtual kennel" for cats and dogs in need of adoption. FCDF participates in various animal welfare programs, including the Metro Area Disaster Response Team. The group also offers discount coupons for pet neutering and redistributes pet food and newspaper coupons for pet food and supplies. Information and success stories are published on their website.

FCDF was founded in 1991 by Maggie Dix, who had previously fostered rescue cats under the name "Maggie Dix Cats". The current president is Jodie Standridge, who had previously served on the group's board. She oversees 170 volunteers who help run the groups operations and foster animals until they are adopted.

Potential adopters must agree to a specific care requirements before being allowed to take a pet.
