George Martin (born in Phenix City) is an Assistant U. S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama.

Martin earned his law degree at the University of Alabama School of Law and served as an Alabama state assistant attorney general before becoming an assistant U. S. attorney. He led the prosecutions of politicians Larry Langford and John Katopodis, former HealthSouth executive Sonny Crumpler and former Alabama Fire College director William Langston.
