The Good People Brewing Company is a brewery which opened in June 2008 in the space formerly used by the Southside Cellar Brewing Company in Pickwick Plaza. It is owned by a partnership headed by brewmaster Jason Malone and has a local distribution deal with Birmingham Beverage Company.

The company's first product will be an English brown ale, set for its official debut at the July 4 celebration organized by the Five Points South Merchants Association. The brewery's equipment has a capacity of 250 kegs per month.
