The Good People Brewing Company is a brewery which opened in June 2008 in the space formerly used by the Southside Cellar Brewing Company in Pickwick Plaza. It is owned by a partnership headed by brewmaster Jason Malone and has a local distribution deal with Birmingham Beverage Company.

The company's first brew, an English brown ale, was set for its official debut at the July 4 celebration organized by the Five Points South Merchants Association. Good People Pale Ale was the first beer to become generally available, starting at the Five Points Grill and the J. Clyde on Cobb Lane.

The brewery's equipment has a capacity of 250-300 kegs per month.
