Gucci Mane

Radric Davis, known as Gucci Mane (born February 2, 1980 in Birmingham) is an Atlanta-based rapper and CEO of So Icey Entertainment.

Mane debuted in 2005 with the released of his independent debut album Trap House, which featured the successful single "Icy" with Young Jeezy. Disputes over the rights to this single eventually caused a riff between the two artists.

Hard to Kill followed in 2006, followed by the more successful Back to the Trap House in 2007. That album, which sold 32,000 copies its first week, was fueled by the hit single "Freaky Gurl", which peaked at #12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Rap Tracks.

After ending another prison term, Gucci Mane began working on a mixtape called Writing on Da Wall and "Guccitendo". A new official mixtape "Guccimania" has some of his new 2009 singles featured on the mixtape.

Gucci Mane was arrested for possession of marijuana and an un-licensed gun, the day before his 2009 major-label debut album Gucci Move was released.
