Home Grown Special Foods was a gourmet grocery and prepared foods retailer located at 2910 18th Street South in Homewood owned by Caroline Bundy and Valerie Boyd. The business, which specialized in Alabama-made food products, opened in 2003 and closed in August 2006. There are plans to offer some of their specialties through other stores.
