The Hoover City Council is the legislative and policy-making body for the City of Hoover. The current council is comprised of seven members, each representing one council district. Council terms begin on the first Monday in November in an election year. The council meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Hoover Municipal Building.
