James Mallory Kidd Jr (born 1918 in Birmingham; died December 18, 2007 in Birmingham) was president of Sunnyland Refining Company, a manufacturer and distributor of margarine founded by his father, James Kidd Sr.

Kidd graduated from Phillips High School and trained as a pilot while studying at the University of Alabama. He married fellow aviator Anne Kidd on February 13, 1943 while serving in the Army Air Corps as a trainer in Texas during World War II. Though he graduated with a law degree, he never practiced, instead joining his father's company as an executive, and eventually taking over for him as president.

Kidd was active in civic groups, serving as a captain of the Monday Morning Quarterback Club, a board member for the Crippled Children's Clinic, an executive board member of the Birmingham Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the giver of an endowed chair at the University of Alabama School of Law.

He died in 2007, survived by his wife, four sons, a daughter, two siblings, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
