Jean A. Kelley served as assistant and associate dean for the graduate program in nursing at the University of Alabama. She helped expand the master's program in nursing at UAB and helped develop the school's pioneering doctoral program in nursing. In 1998 she was inducted into the Alabama Healthcare Hall of Fame, and in 2007 she was inducted into Capstone's Alabama Nursing Hall of Fame.
