Jeremy Scott Brown (born Octber 25, 1979 in Birmingham) is a professional baseball player. Brown, a catcher, was called up to the Oakland Athletics on September 5, 2006. He was drafted in the first round of the 2002 amatuer draft by the A's after playing at the University of Alabama, where he was an all-SEC catcher in 2001 and led NCAA Division I in 2002 with 69 walks in 66 games. Brown was drafted in the in the 19th round of the 2001 amateur draft by the Boston Red Sox, but he did not sign. Brown graduated from Hueytown High School in 1998.
