John McLaughlin (born 1792 in Tennessee – died 1863) was a son of Jefferson County pioneer Andrew McLaughlin. He married Margaret Brinker. Their son, James was born in Leeds in 1838. They are buried at Shiloh Cemetery in Leeds.
