Kempis Press is a boutique publisher and stationer located at 2018 11th Avenue South on the ground floor of the LaSalle Apartments in Five Points South. It is owned by the Slaughter Group advertising firm and operated by pressmaster Jonathan Slaughter.
Kempis uses two Vandercook No. 4 proof presses to produce hand-bound books as well as unique small-run products such as wedding announcements and restaurant menus. It is named for 15th century devotional writer Thomas à Kempis.
