La Cocina was a Mexican restaurant. It first opened in 1974 at 7855 Crestwood Boulevard, near K-Mart and later moved to 2111 7th Avenue South, above the Burly Earl. The restaurant's menu was well known for its 8-layer dip, Godzilla burritos, and Vegadia chimichangas.

The Southside building was demolished in 2016 for construction of The Waites apartments.
