The building housed a Ridout's Brown-Service funeral parlor and a warehouse for the James A. Head Co.. It was sold to H. Arthur Edge III in 2004 for $483,000.

The building is currently occupied by the Collins & Horsley, P.C. law firm and also houses four condominiums.
