This is a List of Birmingham homicides in 1892. It includes homicide cases occurring within the city limits during the calendar year. Note that not all homicides are ultimately ruled to be murder in courts of law.

Listing

  1. An African-American male was murdered in cold blood. A suspect, Phil Thomas, also known as Will Burns, was identified as the killer in August 1893 outside of Meridian, Mississippi, where he was working as a laborer. He was arrested by a local constable and brought back to Birmingham to stand trial. (report)
