In 2013 the building was purchased by Troy Wallwork. Part of the building, approximately 12,000 square feet, was renovated as offices for Wallwork's company DataPerk. Most of the remaining space was turned into an event venue, dubbed "Haven". The $5 million renovation project, which was completed in 2016, was designed by CCR Architecture & Interiors. The project qualified for $281,250 in Alabama Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits.
