Magic City Music Productions is a recording company founded in 1992 by Birmingham jazz pianist and vocalist Ray Reach. SInce its inception, Magic City Music (MCM) has produced recordings for the classical, jazz and contemporary sacred markets, including CDs by:

1) K. Lee Scott - well known choral composer and conductor: Album titles: "Christmastide" (2003), and "Requiem" (2006).

2) Lou Marini and the Magic City Jazz Orchestra - Jazz saxophonist known as "Blue Lou." Album title: "Lou's Blues" (2003)

3) Eric Essix and the Night Flight Big Band - Jazz guitarist Eric Essix. Album title: "SuperBlue." (2006)

4) Amy Drinkwater - Christian jazz vocalist. Album title: "With All My Heart - A Journey to the Soul." (2005)

5) Ray Reach and Various Artists - "Mr President," (1992) a song benefitting the homeless in the Birmingham area. Artists and studios who donated their time and efforts to make this record include: Chuck Leavell (Keyboards - Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton), Charlie Heyward (Bass - Charlie Daniels Band), Chuck Tilley (Drums - Lee Greenwood), Kelley O'Neal (Sax - The Winans, Take Six), Wayne Perkins (Guitar - Rolling Stones, Leon Russell, Joni Mitchell), Front Row Productions and Airwave Productions Group.
