Martin is also an avid kayaker of the the [[Locust Fork River|Locust]] and [[Mulberry Fork]]s of the [[Black Warrior River]].

Mark Martin (born c. 1955 in Oxford) is the prosecuting attorney for Black Warrior Riverkeeper.

Martin graduated from Oxford High School and earned his bachelor's degree at Jacksonville State University.
