Maurice Ford is a high school basketball coach.
Ford was coach at Parker High School for 12 seasons, until his resignation on June 25, 2009. He led the Thundering Herd to the final four in the state basketball championships in 2002, 2008, and 2009.
Ford has been named in an NCAA investigation into the eligibility of former Kentucky and Parker player Eric Bledsoe. Ford is alleged to have recruited Bledsoe to Parker after Hayes High School closed, and to have paid the rent on the home Bledsoe and his mother moved into to be eligible to play for Parker.
