Michael Hansen (born October 21, 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee) is the executive director of GASP and a candidate in the 2017 U.S. Senate special election to fill the seat vacated by Jeff Sessions' nomination as Attorney General.

Hansen is the son of Lewis and Valerie Hansen of Tennessee. He grew up in Memphis and graduated from Collierville High School in 2000. He went on to study marketing at the University of Memphis, and graduated in 2005.

Hansen moved to Birmingham in 2008 and attended graduate school at the University of Alabama. He worked at the Modern Brand Co. and at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens before joining GASP as a communications specialist in 2013. He was named executive director in 2015.
