Miss Samford

Miss Samford University is an annual beauty pageant held by the Samford University. The contest, which was first held in 1948 as Miss Howard College, is one of 50 qualifiers for the Miss Alabama pageant. Scholarships are awarded to top finishers. Nine of the winners have gone on to represent Alabama in the Miss America competition.
