Morse Avenue was a short street in Woodlawn, running from Thornton Street to the Norfolk-Southern Railroad tracks adjacent to Division Avenue. It was later incorporated into the Birmingham street numbering system as a disconnected section of 1st Avenue South. The former street and right-of-way were vacated by the city during the development of the Connors Steel plant.
