Moses Kelly Sr (born October 8, 1775 in South Carolina; died January 9, 1837 in Jefferson County) was an early settler and farmer in the vicinity of Carrollton in Jones Valley.

Kelly was the son of Gersham and Bridget Kelly of South Carolina. He served under General Andrew Jackson in the Creek War and fought in the Battle of New Orleans in January 1815.

Kelly and his wife Margaret had five children: James, Gersham, Nancy, Moses Jr, and Isham.

Kelly died in 1837 and is buried at Mt Nebo Cemetery in Trussville.
