Myra Jones Bryant (born 1893 in Ohio) was a civic leader, newspaper columnist, and the wife of physician H. C. Bryant.
Bryant served for twelve years on the national board of the Young Women's Christian Asssociation. She was the founder of the Birmingham Metropolitan Council of Negro Women and of the Periclean Club. She also served on the executive committee of the interracial committee of the Coordinating Council of Birmingham, and chaired the intercultural committee of the Birmingham Council of Negro Women. In 1951 she was elected president of the Women's Auxiliary to the Alabama State Medical Association.
Bryant was a contributing columnist to The Birmingham World and edited Challenge, the official organ of Region 4 of the National Council of Negro Women.
She and her husband resided at 911 12th Terrace North. They had one son, H. C. Bryant Jr, who also became a physician.
