The Norris Underwood residence is a 8,867 square-foot ranch-style house on a 2.83 acre lot accessed from Marion Drive next to Bush Cemetery, but addressed as 1419 Monticello Road in Irondale.

It was built in 1963 for Norris and Mildred Underwood. The house features five bedrooms, five baths, and a large vaulted 1970s addition with an indoor swimming pool. The grounds are landscaped into a series of Japanese-style gardens.

The house is currently for sale for just over $300,000.
