During the interim between the tornado and the opening of the new school students attended the old [[Gilmore-Bell Vocational School]] near Bessemer. The school's atheletic teams are the Tigers. Oak Grove High School is a part of the Jefferson County School System. It is currently located at 9494 Oak Grove Parkway in Oak Grove. The current location was built after an F5 tornado destroyed the old one on April 8, 1998. During the interim between the tornado and the opening of the new school students attended the old Gilmore-Bell Vocational School near Bessemer. The school's atheletic teams are the Tigers. School colors are red and white.
