Oak Grove High School is a part of the Jefferson County School System. It is currently located at 9494 Oak Grove Parkway in Oak Grove. The current campus was constructed after an F5 tornado destroyed the old one on Lock 17 Road on April 8, 1998. During the interim between the tornado and the opening of the new school students attended the old Gilmore-Bell Vocational School near Bessemer.
