One Minute Car Wash

The One Minute Car Wash was a partially-automated car washing business which opened at 2321 7th Avenue South in January 1951. It was patterned after the famed 1920s "One Minute Car Wash" in Hollywood, California and featured a streamlined California-style Spanish Colonial Revival design.

The business utilized Kelite steam cleaning equipment and Comwel blowers to augment hand-washing. Standard Oil products were also sold.

The building has since been demolished, with the lot used most recently as part of the Jim Burke Automotive dealership.
