Peacock Lane (formerly 23rd Avenue South) is a 4/10ths-mile long street connecting Cahaba Road to 23rd Street South in Mountain Brook, in the southern part of English Village. It runs near the northern edge of the Birmingham Zoo at Lane Park.

The street was given its name after a zoo peacock named "Henry" began roosting above an air conditioner compressor at a house on the street.
