Quarterback Club Tower at UAB

Plaque denoting completion of the Quarterback Club Tower

The Monday Morning Quarterback Club Tower is located at 601 19th Street South in the UAB Medical Center. It was built in 1977 and originally hosted cardiovascular operating rooms and a cardiovascular-care unit that were used by members of the Cardiovascular Research and Training Center.

History

On August 1, 1974 a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Quarterback Tower.
On July 18, 1977 the Quarterback Tower was dedicated as Phase I of the Alabama Heart Hospital.
