The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championship Game is a football game played annually to determine the champion of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. It has been held each December since 1999 at Legion Field in Birmingham.

The current title sponsor of the game, which is televised on ESPN Classic, is Farmer's Insurance.

Jackson State (8-4) won their first conference title since 1996 in front of 43,236 fans. Jackson was led by linebacker Marcellus Speaks who had 8 tackles, an interception and a pass breakup and by back-up tailback Lavarus Giles who accumulated 117 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. Quarterback Jimmy Oliver went 16 for 40 for 249 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. For Grambling State, Brandon Landers went 18 for 38 in the air for 229 and two touchdowns. Receiver Clyde Edwards had 7 catches for 72 yards and finished as Grambling's all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches.
