The Shades Valley Camera Club is an organization for hobbyist photographers in the Birmingham area. The current president is Terry Yarbrough.

The club was started in 1954 and holds monthly competition and business meetings at the Vestavia Hills Public Library. Competitions are open to all club members and usually alternate between a specific theme and open competition. Members also get gallery space on the club web site.
