The Silvertron Café is a casual neighborhood restaurant located at 3813 Clairmont Avenue in Forest Park since 1986. The name refers to a television repair shop that was previously located in the building.
Silvertron briefly had a location on Rocky Ridge Road in Vestavia Hills.
On the morning of March 22, 2006 the owner, Alan Potts, was found dead in the café's kitchen. Murder is the suspected cause of death.
