Sister Mary Joseph (born Elizabeth Arlene Olson July 15, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois; died July 19, 2009) was one of the founders of the Our Lady of the Angels Monastery in Irondale.
Olson was the daughter of Elmer and Elsie Olson. She grew up in Oak Park, Illinois and was baptized February 10, 1947 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. She entered the Sancta Clara Monastery in Canton, Ohio in February 3, 1950 and received her name in religion on April 21, 1951.
Sister Mary Joseph made her first profession on May 14, 1953 and her solemn profession on June 27, 1959. She accompanied Mother Angelica from Canton, Ohio on March 20, 1962.
