1881?

• Ethel Armes tells how new cashier W. P. G. Harding at the Berney Bank deposited the $600,000 check from Enoch Ensley to purchase the Pratt Mines. But that should have been in 1881, several years before the bank was founded and before Harding came to Birmingham from Tuscaloosa. Also, she keeps calling it the "Old Berney Bank", but doesn't describe its founding. --Dystopos (talk) 11:52, 28 December 2015 (PST)
