In working on the [[Pizitz Alberta]] article, I found out that the two original Pizitz locations in Tuscaloosa were not affiliated with the Pizitz chain of Birmingham from a business standpoint. Pizitz of Tuscaloosa was founded by Max Pizitz around 1913. The opening of the [[University Mall]] store by Pizitz of Birmingham effectively resulted in the closure of the two stores owned by Pizitz of Tuscaloosa (see here [http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=qicdAAAAIBAJ&sjid=R6UEAAAAIBAJ&dq=pizitz-of-tuscaloosa&pg=1823%2C2459745] and here [http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=rCcdAAAAIBAJ&sjid=R6UEAAAAIBAJ&dq=alberta%20pizitz&pg=4343%2C3345675]).
